Amanda is a Counsellor and Clinical Family Therapist and holds clinical membership with The Australian Association of Family Therapists (AAFT). Amanda has extensive training and experience in providing counselling to adults, children and families.
Specialising in the area of separation and divorce, Amanda has worked extensively in Family Law Services, providing counselling, pyscho-education and group programs to separated families experiencing a number of complex issues; assisting them to resolve conflict, improve communication, manage court orders or parenting plans and work towards more positive, child focused outcomes.
Amanda was born in England but moved to Italy with her family when she was a teenager. Amanda embraced the ‘bella vita’ and learnt to speak fluent Italian, living there for 16 years, until migrating to Australia in 2002.
Once settled into life in Melbourne, Amanda pursued a career in counselling and psychotherapy.
